The Men Who Stare At Goats waste our time and money
Wink, wink - nudge, nudge. That’s the name of the game here. And it kills all the dry, disturbing humour the non-fiction book so brilliantly invokes to tell a story about some strange and scary stuff the US may or may not have been involved in over the past few decades. The movie is pleasant enough until the awful awful climax. Read Jon Ronson’s book. And then read his first book, Them - another dry, disturbing dealie about strange, scary stuff in the world.
